"These stunning solid pure (99.9%) fine silver cowrie seashells (approx size 1cm) handmade in Warwickshire mounted on sterling silver ear pin studs with sterling silver scrolls.

This item is cast using precious metal clay and an impression made from a seashell found on a North Cornwall beach.

These fine silver pieces are designed and finished by me in my Warwickshire studio.

I use eco-friendly silver clay which contains recycled silver. Once fired, the piece could be hallmarked at the Assay Office as 999 Fine Silver (99.9% pure silver) which is considered to be far finer and more pure than 925 Sterling Silver. I choose not to have my pieces hallmarked as they fall below the weight for statutory hallmarking.

Due to the handmade nature of the item, the pendant is not intended to be perfectly smoothly finished – I like to leave my work unique and I hope you love the result as much as I do!
